Looked very headless at Liverpool though, to be fair Rafa never wanted him there and he was Houlliers signing, who only arrived after Houllier was sacked. He couldn't keep his place for Marseille last season either. Cisse scored them in France where David Bellion and Lillian Laslandes were/are successful strikers and Stephane Guivarc'h was a world beater. So far Martins has 11 in 33, 9 in 31 and 1 goal in the one game he has played this season. Both the previous seasons were in terrible Newcastle teams. His 13 in 21 for Nigeria speaks for itself in my opinion against 9 in 35 Cisse for France, and don't say better competition, in my opinion there is little between an average African team and an average European team, but there is a big diofference between the shittest African teams and the shittest European teams, the likes of San Marino are worse than the African sides, so don't come with the OBA scoring againstg shite teams pish.
