I'm just a bit pissed off that we could be used as leg up's so that Tottenham can get closer to getting to Champs League. Read Modric's comments and they all seemed fair enough Europe was mentioned and Juande Ramos. I also wondered he said that it meant so much to him to have a manager want him so much which may mean Ramos was involved in the talks but Wise and the mob, - Keegan were involved in our talks. Edgar is not going to make it imo. I wasnt impressed a fortnight ago and I was even less impressed on Saturday. If Modric really was paraded round the training ground and gave us his word then hes a mercenary cunt for going back on his word! His comments in the paper suggest the deal was done without his knowledge though by his agent and former club who were just out for as much as they could get. If thats the case then he still needs a good hiding for being a soft cunt and letting other people make his decisions for him behind his back. I havent been this disappointed in missing out on a player for years.
