Shearer At Blackburn Compilation

Now when people think of Shearer, he's always recognised with us, and after 10 years of service, you could say that's fair enough. But people then seem to also recognise his playing traits as well, when he was passed his prime with us, which in fact was 9 of the 10 years of which we had him. Yet people do seem to overlook just how good he actually was when at Blackburn.

 

Was there anyone more lethal around that time he was at Blackburn? He had pace, power, that winning mentality, he could beat people, absolutely lethal in front of goal, the ability to take games by the scruff of the neck and inspire those around him. Pretty much won the title for Blackburn with his goals.

 

Also managed to achieve the remarkable feat of scoring 30 plus league goals, for 3 seasons in a row in the top flight. I can't think of any name off the top of my head over here anyways that has achieved such a feat, for years anyways. Wouldn't mind actually knowing who that was.
