Sorry Wacky.

What kind of dog was he?

Bull Terrier, seems very empty the house today without him, life goes on though

Staffy or English? Wor lass's family have had about 5 English ones. Lovely dogs (as are Staffies) with an undeserved reputation. I don't think they're going to get another one though. They had a bitch and it had 4 pups. They kept two of them and in the last two years the mother and one of the dogs has died. They've just got the one bitch left from the litter and she is on her last legs :nufc: I think I'd opt for a Border Terrier or something like that though as they seem to live longer and you don't get the numerous health problems Bull Terriers seem to get.

Keep your chin up anyway :D

Cheers mate.

Didn't fancy sitting in work all day to day so I've had the day off just to mope about feeling sorry for myself, back tomorrow though.

Staffy. My dad's kept them for years getting his first one in about 78' 'Monty'. My dad built an extension for some women down the country and she didn't have all the money to pay him as her husband had fucked off so she offered him the husbands dog/puppy as he was worth a few quid pedigree wise, my dad kept him and he lived until he was about 18. Was a right bastard with other dogs, horses, cats, any animal in general really but great with people and kids.

Wor lass bought me mine for my Birthday and the rest is history. My dad says he would never have another one after 'The Mont' died but I lined mine when he was just over two years old to try and calm him down a bit and my dad ended up taking the pick of the litter so the bloodline goes on I suppose. :D

Always a shame, whoever coined the phrase "a mans best friend" didnt know just how right he could be. ;)

Damn right, if you ever wonder who loves you more, your wife or your dog, lock both of them in the boot of your car for an hour and see which one is more happy to see you when you let them out.
