Jusoda Kid 1
http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/north-east-...72703-20751932/ Reckons he was shot on the way home from the Winc (pub) as he made his way through the graveyard. Under police guard apparently, wants protecting from himself if the tale I've just heard is true

sweetleftpeg 0
The fuckers still sticking with the 'I was shot' story. Shooting victim 'lucky to be alive'Apr 14 2008 by Lisa Hutchinson, Evening Chronicle HITMAN victim Tommy Grimes told today how he was shot as he walked through a cemetery. The lucky-to-be-alive 18-year-old nurses a hole in his right thigh after being targeted by a mystery gunman who is still on the loose. And as detectives search for the shooter, Tommy, known as Tucker, said: “I’m lucky to be here, it could have killed me.” From his hospital bed, he added: “I am lucky that it didn’t hit a major artery.” Tommy’s ordeal began after he’d been drinking with his boss of Grieveson’s Scrapyard at the Wincomlee pub in Walker, Newcastle. He had taken a shortcut home to nearby Scrogg Road through Walker Cemetery when the gunman fired. It happened just before 1am on Friday, and Tommy, who celebrated his 18th birthday on April 2, staggered to nearby Hexham Avenue for help. Screaming with pain he alerted friends who tried to stem the blood flow and called for an ambulance. He was taken to Newcastle General Hospital where surgeons removed the bullet to give it to ballistic experts. Tommy, a former pupil of Walker Technical College, added: “I was a bit drunk when I walked through the graveyard. “It was silent and dark and I heard nothing. Then there was a really loud bang and I felt the pain in my leg. I saw a figure in the dark, a skinny bloke with dark clothing on – that’s all I remember. I fell to the ground but managed to get back on my feet and I stumbled into the street. “I shouted for my friends in Hexham Avenue and they came out and took me in their house. They lay me on the settee and took off my overalls. There was blood pouring from my leg and there was a big hole in my thigh. “I don’t know who would do this to me. I think it was just an idiot running around with a gun and took a pot-luck shot at someone – and that was me. “The police stood guard on the door at the hospital at first because they thought it was a hitman who might come back and finish me off, but I don’t think that was the case.” Tommy’s stepmother, Sonia Burton, 31, of Midway, Walker, who has had Tommy since he was two years old, has been by his bedside along with his mother Maria Wafer, 41, of Emily Street, Walker. Maria said: “There are some idiots roaming about with guns and knives and Tommy was in the wrong place at the wrong time.” Acting Det Insp Paul Makepeace, said: “It’s still unclear what has happened. We are carrying out further inquiries.” Newcastle East End neighbourhood officers are appealing for help from the community. Anyone with information can call Clifford Street Neighbourhood Investigators on 08456 043 043.
