Guest alex
His driving motivation is his place in the England set-up and to become it`s all-time leading scorer. To do so he needs European football or a team who`s really gonna give the euro spots a chase next season. Otherwise he`ll go. Yep, he'll certainly get ignored if he is scoring regularly in the league for a club not playing in Europe... Capello ignored him lately............ He`ll be gone in the summer. Utterly pathetic. You talk such shite. Did he ignore Stuart Downing? Did he ignore the Tottenham players, or even Beckham. We'll be back in Europe soon enough. I'd imagine Capello will have him back playing for England as soon as he comes to the conclusion he's fit and back in form (which seems to both be the case now) and these England new master tactics just don't win and goes back to something more like the usually England 4-4-2. In fact in the role he's been currently playing he's probably more attractive than ever to the England set up in a way. Agree in the main but the only problem with that from an England viewpoint is that Rooney, Owen (now arguably anyway) and even Crouch are better in the hole than playing further up the pitch / on the shoulder of the last defender. MrBass 2815
Of course he'll stay here, who wouldn't want to be in a team with the likes of Henry, Beckham and Ronaldinho!
tinofbeans 91
with us he'get the chance to be paid what he wants and will probably be our leading scorer. he'd of course get that at any other club, but for some reason i really do just think he's better off here. Park Life 71
I'd be thinking about a little more backlift when I shoot from range.
