We're are doing well now and he has won me over with his recent form, but do you think his thoughts are elsewhere? Will he sign a new contract. I hope so like. ewerk 31597 Posted April 10, 2008 Share Posted April 10, 2008 It depends on how much faith he has in us going forward, none of the top 4 are going to want him so it's either stick with us or join one of the other clubs who hope to be fighting for a UEFA Cup spot next year. It's as simple as that really because he's still one of the best English strikers without a doubt. And that's more to do with the dearth of talent than his recent run. I'd imagine Capello will have him back playing for England as soon as he comes to the conclusion he's fit and back in form (which seems to both be the case now) and these England new master tactics just don't win and goes back to something more like the usually England 4-4-2.
