bawan 0
Without meaning to sound like a cunt, are you sure you did 57mph? Ive been karting a few times and the ones ive been on all top out at about 30mph. I would imagine crashing into a tyre wall at 60mph would be good for some internal injuries! iv got the sheet...the way the man explaind it the section it says 57.2 he said that was ur top speed
The Fish 11102
so that'd be 57 kph, not mph then.

But I doubt Bawan was anywhere near them - they're for the pro karters only... Class B's will do about 50-60mph but no kart track manager is going to let you anywhere near them without you prove that you have what it takes to handle one. Joe public get handed the class C's which as you point out, are limited to about 30mph..

Gejon 2
I have a weekend coming up where we have go-karting, quad biking and 4x4 jeeps. My mate spoke to the bloke who runs it and he said you dont need a license for any of it just as long as you show you can drive the thing. Sounds like it will be lots of fun
Craig 6703
Cornering in quad biking fucks me up big time.... I'm used to either 2 wheel bikes where you turn out and lean in or karts where you turn in and lean out. On a quad bike you have to turn in and lean in... do either of the other two and the thing will attempt to turn over.

There are tracks that have ones quite a bit faster than class C 30mph ones (nothing as fast as a racing one though), but probably only proper (propa, propa) outdoor ones with enough grass run off space. sweetleftpeg 0
We are planning to go to the one in Sunderland, its 1.2miles and the karts are 350cc, heard somewere it was £40 for an hour. Good deal if you ask me. Went there on a Stag Do last month and it was indeed cracking. Canny funny because there was about 12 of us just taking the piss and another group of lads treating it deadly serious. Good laugh though. The karts any fast? or are you not the ideal person to ask You do feel like you're going canny fast, because you're so low down and exposed to the elements with it being outside. I finished respectable mid-table but migt have done better had I not had a massive spin trying to lap a back marker..
