toontoasey 0 Posted April 7, 2008 Share Posted April 7, 2008 At the beginning of that compilation i used to go to Durham and watch them train all the time, got my shirt and toon coat signed by all the players and keegan, and i noticed at the end for the lap of honour Mike Hooper was there, he is now a doorman at the fighting cocks in Durham, bit of a comedown like. Mind you even at 33 he wasn't bad, was he? I know he was in his early thirties when he came back to us from Everton. Could you imagine what a 23 year old Beardsley would be worth in todays market.
