Guest alex
Souness should be grateful Hughes didn't utilise Bellamy properly against us last Sunday. It would have been a blood bath, but instead he completely fucked up his tactics (makes a change from Souness!). AF, have you any evidence that Bellamy was a disruptive influence in the dressing room, independent from what Souness or his cronies have said? Funny how both Dyer and Bowyer are still here, isn't it? 38578 It's almost like you wanted Bellamy to murder us to prove Souness wrong 38865 Not at all, I was just making an observation. I'm not sure why Hughes didn't go 4-4-2 against us, was Dickov injured or something (really can't remember). However, if they had put up that performance against ManU against us, they would probably have won by a large margin and Souness might be out of a job. Do you disagree? It's a funny old game as they say. 38889 Possibly, I didn't think Bellamy looked 100% against us though, I thought that was the biggest factor. You sound like an armchair expert but maybe you have good reason to?" Well I have and I can tell you that however brilliant someone is at their job when they start slagging off the management and the directors and then start feigning injury so they are not around its time for the 45 - P45 or Colt 45 - whatever it is required - the management (SBR, FFS & Souness) cut Bellamy a lot of slack but he wouldn't behave You cannot run a succesful business with a loose cannon - however brilliant - the whole palce disintegrates in front of you

Ketsbaia 0
Bellamy was and still is a class player. I'd have loved him to stay here and become a local legend but because he couldn't stop his mouth from going and our current manager is a tosser it was never to be. Anyway, he's gone and now we've got someone who is five times the player in Owen.

Owen also cost a lot more money, so if you think Owen has replaced Bellamy, I've got a question for you ? Who do you think will replace Shearer next year and be Owens partner ? And how much money do you think the club will need to spend and how much will they have, the 4.5 m they got for Bellamy ? Or another 15m ? Unless you think Ameobi is the man, but you did think that once didn't you, like plenty others ? Edited September 26, 2005 by LeazesMag
