Upson and Carson injured, Robinson in.Clicketty-Click What is the sense in this? Getting a player's hopes up only to tell them a couple of days later they haven't made the finsl squad. I suppose it's to make them feel they're in the manager's plans. Plus, if there were any injuries to the others over the weekend, they'd be next in line. It'll be a disappointment but it's better to be in the provisional squad than not in it at all. Incidentally I see while saying Beckham shouldn't be picked and Wheater should in his column in the Sunday Times, Rod Liddle made his customary dig at NUFC.
