Isn't it £700 an hour she earned? Not bad if you can get it I guess. Think of how many tasers she could buy with that sort of money. Think of how many school books could be bought with the police protection already squandered on her. And remember they are "potentially lethal offensive weapons" in non-police hands, where they magically morph into "completely non-lethal violence prevention systems"........ despite already having killed 5-10 people in the UK through police use and 3000+ in the USA. Those figures sound reliable. The problem is if you get shot it's fairly easy to figure out what has killed you. Where as if you get tasered and then (for example) die of a heart attack or stroke or seizure a few seconds, hours or days later it's not so clear (although it may be just as much the act that results in death). Not surprisingly the UK police are rather keen to blame anything but being tasered in these cases. Yeah I did assume that'd be the explanation. What she should have done is read out a statement something like...
