Guest Stevie
I'm heading off there tomorrow to watch the toon, meeting a mate from Warrington on the train, who despite living close to Liverpool knows fuck all about the place. I've been three times but not since 1997. Anyone know the quickest way of getting from Anfield to Liverpool Lime Street, taxis, busses etc... is it doable in 25 minutes? I never trust online guides etc... Any bars near the station where I can be safe of the knowledge that the contents of my pocket will remain where they should be etc.... Does anyone know how many rows there are in the away end, an un-named associate of mine is in Row 32 and he's 6ft5 so is view might be slightly restricted if its the back row. Tom 14021
As you leave the station, theres a pub on your left. Dont go in, it's a shithole Theres some really nice places out of town but i dont suppose that helps much , I would just taxi to Anfield and then follow the crowd back. You could maybe walk it in 25 mins at a push if you already knew the way, and there should be buses heading directly back to the centre, but I think just getting a taxi would be the quickest and easiest option. Guest Stevie
Not since Keegan left and not now until Keegan has returned? Nah mate Dalglish had just taken over, someone ran from wor end and chucked his toon top at KD when we 3-0 down. Had a South Tyneside haircut. Why? [/knuckle dragger] I've been Merseyside six times but always for football, Tranmere, BD and RD but never to the centre and always by coach.
