Tom mate, you've gone from mildly interested to sounding more desperate for male company than the wingman who's charge has successfully locked onto the fit girl he's after, but her fuggo mate is making a beeline for you...

I'd go if I were nearer. I like the fact that our reserves seems made up of a fair few very promising youngsters.

GEORDIE striker Andy Carroll bagged a brace to make it six goals from five games as United's reserves got back to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Everton at St.James' Park.

The 19-year-old was outstanding throughout and got his just reward with a late double in front of watching boss Kevin Keegan.

The hosts were already leading following a John Irvine own goal when Big Andy got his first with just five minutes left on the clock.

Jonny Godsmark crossed from the right and when the ball fell to the 6ft 4ins frontman he showed hesitation in lashing high into the roof of the net from 12 yards out.

And the Gateshead-born star sealed victory in the dying seconds, this time heading home a Mark Doninger corner via the underside of the crossbar.
