Tom 14021
The attempt to take some sort of moral high ground floundereda bit when you asked him if he was a 'spacker' imo. How so? I think he's a spacker because I have reasonable grounds to think so. He's a wanker, the least funny person I've encountered and probably the biggest social retard known to this board. He actively tries to provoke me, so I therefore have reasonable grounds for my hatred of him. IRONYTASTIC. I don't think he gets it Ben

Guest Patrokles
Also of note is Thompers' labeling of Wacky as a hypocrite; at which point, the former criticizes the latter's usage of 'to' and 'too,' yet subsequently follows this with a declaration of countries being 'ran' instead of 'run.' Jusoda Kid 1
So you despise him for what, exactly? Did he come here and take the piss and not try? Nope. So therefore you possess hatred for a man that you've a ) Never met and b ) Hasn't intentionally or actively tried to provoke you. Do you think therapy is the way forward for you? Or are you just a top grade spacker? I despise him for signing a load of shite players and trying to play for a draw against the likes of derby Now, Fuck off....Tokyo Drift Jealous because you own a 1.1 Ford Escort? So you despise somebody for mistakenly signing the wrong players for a football team? Really? acrossthepond 901
Christ, Thompers, you are some kind of moron. Back on topic, we all knew Fat Sam was full of shit, doesn't surprise me that Keegan trains the lads harder and inspires them better. I'm still trying to find some kind of positive from Fat Sam's time here...Faye/Beye, I suppose, but can't see any other upside really.

One of the lads said to me not long after he came here "I reckon all this sports science thing is all smoke and mirrors', starting to look that way now for Duff to come out and say what he has. To think the size of the backroom team he had brought in as well.

Jobs for the boys I reckon, I'll admit I was fairly pleased when Sam came in but I guess that was all down to the shite we'd been dealt prior to his appointment... it'd didn't really improve and to be honest I look back now and think it was more of an indication that Sam needed far to many people to do one man's job - the manager. I agree he bought well in Beye and Faye but other than that I see no real positives, Sam's just a fat sack of hot air.
Yorkie-Geordie 0
I find this pretty difficult to believe if i'm honest. Yet to see any evidence of an improvement of fitness, infact, it's one of the things i'm most concerned about! Arsenal cup game, late collapse. Middlesbrough, late collapse. Villa, second half utter capitulation. Man Utd, constant bombardment. Blackburn, late collapse. Aye, i know two of those were Man Utd and Arsenal, but the consistency of it is worrying. Not sure if I'd bracket the Blackburn game in there, late goal on the break against the run of play maybe, but late collapse ?? surely not. Yorkie-Geordie 0
You could possibly be right. I can't really comment on that to be fair, i didn't see the game. I saw the others though, and in contrast to several late victories or comebacks when Allardyce was here, i fail to see where this great upturn in fitness is really shining through. I'm not exactly standing up for Allardyce, he certainly had his faults, i just don't think it's very clear that the fitness is considerably better now that he's gone. It doesn't look it to me. Like i say, it's concerning. Because when we concede, we frequently look like we're going to concede more and more. Which we have done. We were inches away from losing the Boro game aswell! I wasn't exactly saying that the fitness is really poor or anything (i don't think it's great), i'm just arguing Duff's point that it has 'improved'. That's a load of nonsense to me. And if it is to do with character, surely that's 'mental fitness', or something? Edited March 3, 2008 by Yorkie-Geordie
