Papa Lazaru 0
I agree with Alex that as a young English player, regular for the U21's and with a pretty good reputation in football, (despite what we've seen this season!) he'd command a decent fee if sold. tinofbeans 91
poor mans peter ramage tbh. simply put the lads not good enough, i can count on one finger the amount of good games he's had for us. And that was probably in the reserves wonder what he's worth? 4 or 5million i'm guessing?
Dr Kenneth Noisewater 0
On the subject of home-grown centrehalves who were supposed to be world-beaters but turned out to be a bit poo, has Huntingdon played much for Leeds?

Ken 119
Useless tart. Waving his arms around and trying to direct players around. The sooner he goes the quicker our defence will improve...
Ketsbaia 0
Still making basic defensive errors even after all this time. You can argue he hasn't had a good partner in defense but some of the mistakes he makes are school yard stuff, things that you don't need a world class CB to stop you from doing. IMO it's touch and go whether he'll reach his potential and at this very minute he's not worth the risk. Buh-bye, Steven. Sima 0
No rush over Taylor contract, says KK Mar 3 2008 by Alan Oliver, Evening Chronicle KEVIN KEEGAN has assured his England Under-21 skipper Steven Taylor that he is very much part of his plans at Newcastle United. And to prove this, the Magpies boss is ready to sit down and talk to the Taylor camp about a new contract for the Geordie boy. But at the same time, Keegan has quite rightly insisted that everything apart from keeping United in the Premier League is of secondary importance. Keegan has already gone on record as saying how much he admires the 22-year-old local boy and he must have been disappointed that the defender went on record yesterday talking about his dissatisfaction that he has not had an improved contract offer. The United boss said today: “I think there are things that are important to the player and the club, but I don’t think at the moment they are the things that we should be most concerned about. “We want to make sure we stay in this division, which we’ve got to. Then, we’ll look at all those things. “There are other players as well as Steven whose contracts need looking at. He’s still got another year after this, so we’ve got time to talk. “I think I’m going to see his dad this week.” Taylor is being represented by his father Alf, and, to be fair, they have every right to feel aggrieved after both James Milner and Charles N’Zogbia were offered improved contracts this season, which they have both signed. Taylor has made it clear that he only wants to play for United despite apparent interest from other Premier League clubs. And the sooner United get him tied up on a long-term deal, the better it will be for everyone concerned. Bolded bits make me want to vomit tbh Edited March 3, 2008 by Sima

Guest alex
Taylor's probably one of the only sources Oliver still has at the club. Not that that excuses this or any of his other agenda-driven articles.
Norbert Colon 0
I didn't realise that getting 20k a week instead of 40 would make you prance about like a dressage pony in the penalty box and render you unable kick a ball correctly - his timing is more than unfortunate and i hope keegan realises that he is a liability and pressurising the club during a difficult period of results is unacceptable
