What's amazing is the amount of times he beats 4 or 5 defenders then passes it to an open teammate rather than take the glory.

That run against Brazil in '90 when he passed to Canniggia was class.

Is it the warm up?

Aye, incredible

I remember watching it live on TV (UEFA Cup final vs. Stuttgart in '89), it was just brilliant.

I also like the somewhat similar warming up of Andi Herzog...

He should have cheated in '90 as well like his opponents in the final liked to do. They rolled around a lot didn't they?

I am still amazed about the outrage about Klinsmann's "dive" in England. Of course, he made a meal of it, but Monzon's tackle was just absolutely mental and deserved a straight red anyway tbh.

The penalty was obviously as soft as Owen's against the Argies a couple of years later. :) Augenthaler had a totally just penalty appeal turned down only minutes before though.

Btw I can't hate Maradona for that "Hand Of God." I probably would look at things from a different outlook if it had more of an impact on me at the time, but I was only 1 when he done it. The reason I can't hate him is just simply down to how good he was. Shilton's funny like when he talks about him still.

Best player I've seen in my lifetime. I fucking hated him too, when he was still playing. What a player though.

Zico hates him doesn't he? As he performed another art of trickey with his hand when playing against Udinese and got away with that as well.
