There was an interview with Hunter Davies on Radio five this morning about him. Just the usual stuff saying he needs a good woman, is basically lonely, suffers from depression, on lots of pills, hates drink but does it black out his moods.Has bulimia, is obsessed about getting fit - doing 5 hours in the gym each day and not eating properly.

Great footballer.

The guy is frankly a bit mentally ill and really needs some sort of 24/7 care IMO, it's pretty sad really.

 

He also probably hit football at about the worse time for someone like him as well, a bit earlier and he wouldn't have had quite the money and fame and a bit later and he may have been forced to look after himself better earlier on and maybe never developed some of his more self destructive habits.

 

Last time I saw him close up in the flesh he looked like an escapee from a Japanese prisoner of war camp or something.

From what i have seen of her it probably improved her looks. She seemed an insidious cow tbqh. Not that it justifies hitting her with an iron like.

Has anyone seen the SSN interview that is being run at the minute. He seems to have crossed the barrier now into full blown alcoholic. His speech pattern is fucked up. He sounds like hes had a stroke when he speaks. As much as i dont like the guy its a shame to see him in this state.
