Also, Moncur was before my time, but put it this way. If Moncur is remotely similar to Taylor, Moncur was fucking horrendous.

captained the under 21's the other night and he's shite ?

You haven't seen Cacapa brushed aside on numerous occasions this season I take it

No more than I have Taylor, who gets away with it more, being a local lad and not a darkie.

Cacapa captained Lyon to a lot of trophies, a Lyon team containing top players.

Taylor captaining the Under 21s does make him shite, I agree. How many other under 21 good defenders can you think of? Richards, but he actually is good so gets senior games.

That has aboslutely nothing to do with it.

Oh, and hasnt Boumsong signed for Lyon.

Cris also plays for them and quite frankily played one of the worst centre back performance I have ever seen when we player Leverkusen.

Cris who is now also a cracking defender btw.

Ahhh, excellent. You can see that players can improve then.

You're basically judging Cris on one or two games tbh, we've seen Taylor in over 70.

He's fucking atrocious. Gives away stupid fouls around the edge of the box that piles the pressure on. Can't head a ball, can't organise a defence no matter how much he points and tries to push up. Every game he's pointing, trying to organise.

Like I said earlier he done this on Saturday and completely forgot about marking Carew.

What a fucking spanner.

Including Woodgate tbh <_<

It was more than 4 games though

Didn't you just say opinions can change? Cacapa's reading of the game was exceptional at the start of the season. He's fell to pieces since the Portsmouth game though.

Oh and I love the cretinous use of lololololololoollll1!!!111oneoneeleven in trying to put an argument to bed.

So you're admitting he hasn't the physical strength to be a good premiership defender, now that its been exposed to everyone ?

His lack of strength was embarrassingly shown up against Portsmouth and Benjani isn't the biggest anyway.

Nevertheless, he's still a better defender than Taylor.

I'm pleased you think lacking strength isn't a very serious drawback for a central defender in the premiership

You clearly don't see not having a brain as a drawback, which is commendable

I haven't seen one single post in this thread convincing me what Taylor is actually good at. I don't even see the potential in him others talk about.

Where have I said that you insufferable dullard?

Tbf, you pretty much highlighted it as a major drawback.

He could potnetially have someone class next to him, which would make him better apparently. That's make him better btw, not carry him.

I didn't, just said he was shown up against Benjani.

A deficit in strength can be masked with other abilities though. Although Cacapa maybe hasn't got the quality to completely mask it.

Taylor however lacks pace, anticipation, composure, strength and a brain of any kind.

Lacks strength ? HOHO.

As for lacking a brain of any kind, you should know all about that

I wasn't having a pop at you btw. What I meant was that, rather than what Leazes said, you were admitting it was a drawback to his game. I agree you can make it for it in other areas too. He lacks pace as well but his reading of the game in particular is excellent. His problem is that he's probably a bit old to be adapting to the Premiership where the physical side is crucial and that's where he struggles. I like Cacapa though, but he's a continental-type sweeper for me and for that reason needs a Faye-type 'big strong lad' alongside him.

Ah shit, my mistake.

Taylor does have strength, particularly when he's barging players over on the edge of the area. He even makes Ameobi look patient in the tackle tbh.

How many penalties does this spanner give away anyway?
