East Stander 0
Had the pleasure of chatting with SBR on Sunday morning in the foyer at the Copthorne on Sunday morning. While his stroke has obviously caused some damage, the old fella still looks well and was as concerned as me about us getting a win against the smoggies. Then when the Boro team came out to board their bus, suggested we have sly kicks at them but being the honourable man that he is (unlike me) he politely declined. Made my day that a man of his standing was willing to take time to have a chat. True Legend of the game.

themags 0
I went to a talk in a couple of years back with Sir Bobby, I won a prize and I had to go up to the front where Bobby presented it to me. As there was a break afterwards, i got to talk to him for a bit, a true legend.

Happy Face 29
It's a shame SBR wasn't this popular when he got us 5th place and 75% of the fans buggered off for an early pint. He should have resigned then. We didn't deserve him. But then, he's more honorable than that 75% will ever be.
sweetleftpeg 0
My mam was on the same flight from Heathrow as him. It was delayed, and being the blazing hussy and gob shite that she is she went to talk to him (he was on his own). Said he was a gentleman and down to earth bloke. She claims that a missed call to my moble from her that day was Sir Berb agreeing to speak to me. Personally, I think she was just trying to big herself up. She got me his autograph anyway. Walliver 0
+1 My nanna once danced with in a WMC a long time ago Is that as far as it went? In this day and age she could probably sell her story for quite a bit.

The bloke in front of me went for his half time pint against Boro 34minutes into the game. What is the fucking point?
