@yourservice 67
Reports in Sweden claim Newcastle United are close to agreeing a deal for young goalkeeper Ole Soderberg. The 17-year-old currently plies his trade with Hacken but has been strongly linked with a move to The Premier League. Sportbladet reports that the third choice goalkeeper is on his way to Tyneside to join new manager Kevin Keegan and executive director Dennis Wise. The Magpies have completed a deal for Hungarian youngster Tamas Kadar in January but Keegan recently claimed his window work was done. However, Soderberg looks to be on his way to Tyneside and the club are also believed to be closing in on the signature of Levante defender Alvaro. TheMoog 0
Don't see the point of this really unless we're losing Harper or Krul sometime soon, still I'm not adverse to us getting new talent in, there's always the opportunity to make a profit further down the line if they turn out half decent. Kid Dynamite 7318
Thought Given had a poor game on Tuesday. Made 2 or 3 kicks straight into touch and was at fault for the 2nd goal, not coming to collect when the ball bounced on the penalty spot.

Its to go with the other young kids that have been coming in of late. All to do with improving the academy and actually making it work for us.
