Tooj 17
I grew up on the crime side, the New York Times side Staying alive was no jive At second hands, moms bounced on old men So then we moved to Shaolin land A young youth, yo rockin the gold tooth, 'Lo goose Only way, I begin to gee off was drug loot And let's start it like this son, rollin with this one And that one, pullin out gats for fun But it was just a dream for the teen, who was a fiend Started smokin woolies at sixteen And running up in gates, and doing hits for high stakes Making my way on fire escapes No question I would speed, for cracks and weed The combination made my eyes bleed No question I would flow off, and try to get the dough all Sticking up white boys in ball courts My life got no better, same damn 'Lo sweater Times is ruff and tuff like leather Figured out I went the wrong route So I got with a sick ass click and went all out Catchin keys from across seas Rollin in MPV's, every week we made forty G's Yo nigga respect mine, or anger the tech nine Ch-chick-POW! Guest Patrokles
I just got a new job on-campus for 10 hours a week. I got in and they said, 'just go online.' So I'm being paid for this. And answering the phone sometimes. I'm doing it for the money; on the other hand, I want to be a teacher because I enjoy it. So, I voted a mixture. I'd hate to have nothing to do. Happy Face 29
I've always said I'd keep working if I won the lottery. No-one ever believes me though. Never liked the way people you see on a Sunday night spend the whole time lamenting that they've got to work the next day. If you hate a job so much you can't even enjoy your spare time, it's time for a new career.

Jill 0
Money. I don't mind my job, like the people etc and it's reasonable compared to some, but if I suddenly became rich (eg. lottery) I'd be off in a shot. Selfless of me really, there's unemployed folk would kill for my job. I'd still find plenty to do with my day tbh.
Meenzer 15877
I've always said I'd keep working if I won the lottery. Me too. Well, not necessarily in this job, but I'd need a 9-to-5 routine or I'd never get out of bed. I voted "money", since that's obviously the prime consideration, though it's a useful side-effect that I happen to generally like my job. Jimbo 175
I'm in my job purely for the money, I'm fortunate that I enjoy my job and find it rewarding, but I'd leave it in a heartbeat for something that paid better, and if I won a fortune on the lottery, I'd never work again if I could afford it. NJS 4454
For money but it has to be something you sort of enjoy which is the case for me. Without being nasty I think the idea of winning the lottery and still working displays a profound lack of imagination - I wouldn't be sitting around all day - I'd be off discovering the world as a first thought with a "9-5 routine" being the last thing I'd be think of. I can understand the psychological need for this in the normal course of things but to not want out of if given the chance is sad imo.
