ohhh_yeah 2991
Keegan talked after the game starting with Joey Barton: “He went on and gave us a bit of security in midfield, a little bit of drive and enthusiasm. Joey’s now just got to let his football do the talking. I think you’ll see a new Joey Barton now.” “He’s had a tough time, he’s done some silly things. But he’s turned himself around and we’re going to help him.” “Just like Saturday, 3-0 looks like a hammering, but I thought we showed a lot of character here tonight.” “You can look back at odd decisions, the third goal for them was definitely offside. And at 1-0 when the game was evenly balanced, Michael Owen was given offside when he’s not.” “It looks like you’re whining when you say that, but they’re facts. And they change matches.” “If we got points for being genuine, we would have got something - we gave it everything but just didn’t have enough quality at times." “Arsenal have the confidence that we lack at the moment, but there were things to take from the game.” “We will create more in time with the players we have but it’s not happening at the moment.” “Some of these players aren’t used to getting beaten. We have guys who are used to winning things and they need picking up. We have to get a win from somewhere and hopefully it will be against Middlesbrough on Sunday.”

Barney 0
Tbh we never win at Arsenal, no matter who we have for a squad or manager. Allardyce won at Arsenal loads of times. I though Allardyce never beat Arsenal away from the Reebok?

NJS 4411
Yellow card for the Zog. zog will miss the match against aston villa... I watched the first half and would just like to say. 1. Arsenal are still the biggest cheats in the league (see Sagna's dive). 2. Mike Riley is a bottleless big team's poodle who should be sacked. Fop 1
Meh, patched up team (which admittedly is fairly normal for us ). 3 games. 1 vs a Bolton that played the textbook game of "looking for a draw". And 2 vs a hardly weak Arsenal team where we did ok, despite the score lines (and frankly being out of the cup could be a blessing unless KK is going to come out of retirement and play ). Hardly time to panic.

I remember the first time I saw him - refereeing a cup tie at Old Trafford. Man U were playing a lower league side and committed a stonewall penalty at the Stretford end. Starting off as he meant to go on, Mavis Riley waved play on.
