Series One is a little harder going, however Series 2 is where it starts getting on with it.
Happy Face 29
Been watching Series 4 over the past week. Episode 10 - Misgivings - must be the best episode of them all. "This ain't the guy who came up with 62 kinds of nut" "why don't you just suck on a dick and get it over with" ....and chris stomping the shit out of michaels step-dad. ouch. Happy Face 29
I never thought I'd be as compelled to keep watching second time around...but even knowing exactly what happens I've still been up till 2am on school nights saying to myself "just one more" rather than waiting. Great stuff.

Southern Geordie 1
I'm watching series 3 second for the second time and it's just as good. You catch so many things missed first time around.

My favourite scene in the whole show is Stringer and Avon, just after Avon's been shot at. Come to think of it, that season is probably my favourite because of the Barksdale conclusion. The Fish 10662
favourite scene is either the Fuck-laden CSI scene with Bunk and McNulty or the mexican standoff between Omar and ... the bowtie fella whose name escapes me.
Southern Geordie 1
My favourite scene is from series one where Stinkum and Wee-bey try and take over a corner but Omar is lurking.... The way he pops out the dark and says "hey now" is quality, followed by his famous whistle. Third season is packed with great scenes too. In fact, it's the only show out there that rivals Sopranos for constant quality viewing imo.

An Omar moment is when he goes out to get the breakfast cereal in his dressing gown and without a gun and people throw the stash out the window when they see him... Can't remember what series it's in.

charvski 0
im only up to season 3 but I agree with whoever said, season 1 at the beginning is hard to stick with, i am so glad I did manage to stick with it though, the thing that has been pissing me off is mega video only lets you watch so long for free then you have to bastard wait one of my favourite scenes is from scenes is from series 3 is when mcnulty goes on an all night bender, and tries to drive his car round the corner, crashes it then gets out measures up the corner, drives back goes for a second try at the corner and then crashes it again Edited July 23, 2009 by charvski
