Depends who the competition is. If it's Milner I don't think he would have any problems at all unless Beckham could teach him to pass and cross.

bollocks man. he'd take milner's place in a flash and would probably provide over half of our assists if he did sign. we don't have anyone in the same league when it comes to delivery from wide areas and set pieces.

Beckhams delivery is class, but we would need to inject pace into other areas of our attack, because too many of our players are lacking it. Milner being one.

Defenders wouldn't have a problem with him on the wing. He isn't a great dribbler and he doesn't have much pace.

 

I'd prefer to see him in the middle.
