Tooj 17
The time has come so to speak, bit bored now of living at home after coming back from Uni and one is looking to move out, obviously to rent somewhere as there's no chance I can afford to buy that's for certain. Does anybody know of any decent sites where I can have a look within and around the Newcastle/Gateshead/Shields areas about renting properties? Radgina 1
being a veteran of scouring the sites ( I move on Saturday) sign up with rightmove- give them your details, where and price range etc and thay find all the properties for you and email you if new ones come up too. Happy house/flat hunting don't envy you one bit after the 13 viewings I have been to over the last 2 weeks
snakehips 0
Good luck, 2J. Just stay away from Whitley Bay; we don't like your sort around here. Fuckin' Rentboy
Meenzer 15877
If it's not too personal a question (), what kind of price range can you afford/are you looking at? And, by association, what areas/sized places etc.? In any case, the likes of www.rightmove.co.uk and www.globrix.com are a canny starting point for searching all the local agents, though they've all got their own sites too (that you can usually click through to from the portals) that might have more up-to-date information. Guest Patrokles
Does the Newcastle area have a Craigslist? That's the best thing over here for housing. Also see about the University off-campus housing listing. You might not need to be a student to get some of the places.
Jill 0
We used Wright Residential on Chillingham Road, pretty decent like, though in fairness we didn't really shop around. http://www.wrightresidential.co.uk/ Gotta start looking again though 'cause the fucking landlady is selling the place (good luck love, it's a bit of a dump anyway... )

rikko 20
to actually answer your question, try gumtree.com Great site if you are looking to get a room in shared house. I'm currently letting out 2 of my spare rooms and thats the site I advertised on. They ads on it do tend to get filled very quickly though!
