These two seem to be the most disliked on the board, but if only one of Owen/Viduka/Martins was available to play, who would you want to partner them up front?

Obviously you may want to choose a different option depending on the available 'good' striker, but if you run through all three scenarios in your head you should get a winner.

First names on the 'To Sell' list along with Barton and Geremi. All 4 have a negative effect on the way we play and the sooner they are gone the better.

Robson got rid of most of our shite in the space of 1 summer and i hope Keegan can do the same

I think Allardyce was one who had the negative effect on the way we play. I'm hopefull we could see completely different players in three of those under Keegan.

Shola's a dead loss under anyone.

Like ive said in the past, as well as not being a midfielder, Smith is nowhere near a natural striker either. Hes got no predatory instincts and always needs to take an extra touch before hes willing to take a shot, by which time someone is usually stood in front of him

Hes the footballers labourer. Hel fetch and carry and for the ones who can actually score goals!

Just think he's a better partner for Owen than Shola as his flick-ons and neat passes in the final third are better. Shola would actually get you more goals though. Keegan never bought Smith though so I think he won't have a problem with relegating him (quite rightly) to the bench once everyone is available.

I suppose I'd rather have Smith but in all honesty neither are good enough and should be shipped out in the summer, though in saying that I would like to see Smith get a decent run of games up front so he at least has a chance to prove himself but I'm not hopeful, Ameobi on the other hand has had more than enough opportunities to show what he can do and has come up short.

Frustrating though that Smith should have been playing but once again his indiscipline let him down.

Emre also messed up a good chance.

Aye, good point.

Shola would score a boat load more than Smith, and the only door smith has unlocked this season is when he fell over the ball in hesitation and Viduka took it off him.

Shola wouldn't score a boat load more than anyone.
