Happy Face 29
I was slightly worried for Kev, and how he'd handle this, but he stood up well. Yes he's a bit older looking but there is still that old drive and ambition to mix it with the best. He is still the Messiah and he looks like he can't wait to prove it. I never thought I'd be looking at Keegan managing like a cuddly old grandad, Robson style. He looks like he enjoys a dram as much as Cloughie. Makes Keegan look like a fresh-faced urchin barely out of short pants tbh.

Norbert Colon 0
Don't know whether it was just me but i thought he had a bit of steeliness to him - he was his usual jocular, twinkle in the eye self but seemed a bit harder round the edges - thought he fielded the awkward questions really well - looks like he means business
Craig 6670
I've thought that throughout. Like the other night when the reporter at SJP asked if he could believe he was back and he replied "yeah"... The old keegan would likely have said no... There was a bit of defiance and determination there beyond the words. Keegers looks like a man who wants to enjoy making a few people eat their words. Again. RlCO 0
There was definitely a bit of media hating and unfinished business going on. Nice the way he deflected the first Shearer question by slagging the reporter for queue jumping.
David Kelly 1217
Thought it was very good myself. He's right when he says he understands us more than others from the outside. I think he knows we've depressed as fuck about what has happened in the last few seasons. I also get the impression that he has been promised serious funds (don't know about a blank cheque book but I'm sure he'll have a very good wedge) and they really are aiming to do something big again. I think he also realises how difficult this will be but aiming to scrape europe will get us nowhere. I think we will aim for the top (aim not expect or achieve) and for me that's the best way to go. I must admit that I'm more excited about tomorrows game than I have been for any in a long time and I'm starting to feel like I did when I was a kid. And you can't ask for more than that. For me the whole thing was great it showed (to me anyway) that he seems like the same Keegan who was here last time, he's really up for it, he knows the club, city and fans like nobody else and he will make things happen. People forget that not only does KK have a massive effect on this city/club but also that the club has an effect on him. Coming back here has clearly invigorated him and he looked like he just can't wait to do everything possible to try and get us back where we were under him. The players and fans are already buzzing and that alone will have a massive affect on home games before you add in any new signings and Keegan really gettign a chance to influence them. How well he'll do ultimately, who knows, as to get near the current big 4 down the line will take alot of money, some time and a big upturn from where we are now, but there is a chance he can do it here one more time and whatever happens people will actually be looking forward to matches again like we used to! RlCO 0
Seemed like the old Kev, but a little more frail, a little more hardened to the press, and a little more pissed off. All good signs we are going to storm the league within 3 years.
