Bombadil 0
A quote from .com Interview:Ashley quotes denied Sunday's edition of The News of the World included an exclusive piece supposedly penned by Newcastle owner Mike Ashley setting out his own "sexy football" agenda. However it's now become clear that Ashley has not spoken to that newspaper and the source of the quotes is therefore dubious in the extreme. It's not like it was just a couple of quotes either - it was a huge interview! Who did those journalists talk to then?

Fop 1
I honestly think most papers just make up football interviews, safe in the knowledge that no one is likely to be arsed to sue them over it.

Big TRon 0
I'm pretty certain the quotes are genuine, probably made off the record though. You can be sure if they were made up there would be at least an apology in print demanded by Ashley.
