I started over on Rivals before finding this place, and in that time the original rivals board has now split into FOUR boards. Old Rivals got taken over by Sky, the admin decamped to NUFCView warning of bad things ahead, most stayed, then Sky revamped the board and completely fucked it up, so the new admin and most others left to join the new fansonline network set up by a smog, then he had a change of heart and went back to try and make a go of the fixed Sky Rivals although everyone else stayed on Fansonline, now after a smog invasion of that board and some retaliation, the smog owner has banned all the regulars, who have now all tonight fucked off to yet another board. Only other footy board Ive used daily was Soccer 24-7 but that was before TT was around. Used TT since its first incarnation that Phil made. I had a look one time, never registered because you could tell most of them were from South Tyneside, and Washington type places. NE5's board is decent. NE5's board is decent. Â I post on there. I knew a fair few of the posters on there before I was a member anyway though, just through various away games. There's just as much of a mix on there as any other board. Newcastle, North & South Tyneside and the rest of the country. There's also a fair few mackems, some regular, some just there when the SMB goes to shit. It's good craic to be honest, unless you take it too seriously. But, there's a lot less talk about football than most of the other boards. Â I stick around here because I like it and it's easy to read, and again I know some of the posters from a few years back and it's handy to keep in touch. Â I use N-O to browse the General Chat and the Tickets and Travel forums, but I avoid the main bit like the plague, too much to trawl through. Â That's my lot. I think I'm registered on another 3 but don't use them. I used to use the old toonchat years ago, then another (which name escapes me) then skunkers, then I think I used the merger one......now I'm getting confused I think there is a thread somewhere where the history of all these boards was explained to me.
