In reality absolutely nothing has happened officially anywhere then. The press are as they have been previously making wild stabs in the dark with no solid basis. Redknapp has money to spend in Portsmouth. He lives in Bournemouth not far away and the fans love him there. Why on earth would he come here. Remember yesterday or the day before we were definitely making an approach for Mark hughes, David Moyes and Alan Shearer. Which to be fair would be some coaching team.

Most definately a case of believing the papers, and taking every thing we see on SSN as gospel.

And if you were going to give money to someone would it really be Harry? I would be scared half of it would go into his retirement fund.

I think this job has turned into little more than a retirement fund for turd managers.

I don't think we're going to be hearing much today. And if not then I think a lot will rest on what happens at the SOL on Sunday.

If Redknapp is in the dugout, I doubt that an approach will have been made. If he's absent then I think we know who our next manager is.

Its blatantly him. He cancelled the press conference he was meant to have and was seen leaving the ground in his car.

Hughes looked a bit miffed that hes heard nowt too

That bloke will never get the Man Utd job either.

That's old news from hours ago, isn't it? Joe Jordan said that he knows nothing about 'arry talking to Newcastle and thinks it is about signing a player.

i think it's a dead cert. hope i'm wrong though. his missus might not fancy it but it's a bumper final pay day for the old boy (especially given we'll probably pay off a 4 year contract after about a year). apparantly he's one of the poorest paid premiership managers at present and it's probably his final chance of managing a 'big' club.

QFT. The way Allardyce was smiling it was as if 'yeah, I got what I came for...thanks'. I expect HR to leave with the same smug smile
