I thought we should start a thread for unusual or not commonly known food secrets.

Here are a few of mine:

Frozen grapes - put them in the freezer for 24 hours and you have a delightful sorbet-like snack.

Strawberries with ground black pepper on top - really brings out the flavour. No need for cream/ice cream.

Jelly babies with tomato ketchup - sounds all wrong but it tastes oh-so-right.

Garlic Bread

Cheese Cake

Stuffing a sheeps brain into it's stomach and boiling it

What the fuck?

I know, fucked up or what?

If you're implying that that's what haggis is then you're well wide of the mark there mate.

That was my understanding yes.

Placing a hot Casserole on your face and slowly shitting yourself to the music of Fleetwood Mac...

You kids! Fondu and group sex was enough in my day...

How times have changed ;)

Don't know if you would class this as unusual, but Chilli Con Carne is nice with tagliatelle as an alternative to rice.

I thought I'd posted in this thread already but apparently not.

Having a Shepherd's/Cottage Pie with curry on the bottom and mashed sweet potato on the top is delicious.

Bananas work well too.

Don't bananas go black if you put them in the fridge or freezer?

Tin of condensed chicken soup, 1/2 can water, pack diced chicken breast. Cook chicken in soup/water in oven on 200'C for an hour. Lush.
