bawan 0
A close friend of myn said he seen Keegan in Newcastle about three days ago. He also said he has a feeling that a Shearer/Keegan partnership might be on the cards. In my opinion thats never going to happen, but i wouldn't mind if it did. What do you guys think of it? Good move or Bad move.

Sima 0
Bad move. Really bad move. Football has changed since Keegan was our manager last. Other managers would make mincemeat out of his tactical mongness. Seen it at City towards the end of his reign.

JawD 99
FACT! - no matter who is appointed, half of this board (and most others) will be up in arms calling it ludicrous!
Big TRon 0
Keegan's a great short-term appointment. If Ashley could get him to come in till the end of the season to do a rescue job, then bring in a top manager in the summer we'd get the best of both worlds. Except it would look stupider than an Eastenders plot.
We hate football 0
Heard from someone close to Beardsley that when Keegan was here for the talk in last month that Ashley's men were on the phone to Beardsley all day trying to get Keegan to meet him. Apparantly he refused stating NUFC already had a manager. (Good job he didnt have morals when Ozzie had the job!!) Just a rumour know but I thought I would share. I agree, fine tuning and attention to some details on a game by game basis. However, "tactical mongnes" is a phrase straight out of the book for wankers, considering such mongness got to 90 minutes of the title.
