Barney 0
Extract from the official website of Dutch side of Roda JC Kerkrade, confirming that they have taken Newcastle's Australian-born midfielder on trial with a view to a loan. Troisi is pictured above in a friendly match on Saturday against Belgian side Roeselare and is expected to feature again on Tuesday afternoon when Roda have another kickabout arranged, against Cercle Bruge in Blankenberge. 19 year-old Troisi has been with United since 2005 and after featuring for our academy side has gone on to make 31 reserve appearances, scoring five goals. His current contract at SJP expires at the end of this season and although he was named on the bench in four of our UEFA Cup games last season, James is yet to make his bow in senior football. Under Allardyce, Troisi started the pre-season game at Hull and made sub appearances in four other first team friendlies but hasn't featured since. Troisi is also part of the Australian U23 side who have successfully come their qualifiers and will compete at the Beijing Olympics later this year. Roda are currently sixth in the Eredivisie, four points behind leaders PSV Eindhoven. from .com
Kid Dynamite 7320
Only had one decent look at him, at the hartleppol pre season friendly. Thought he was one of our better players on the day

Thought he was one of our better players on the day Have to agree with that. He looked like he actually enjoyed having the ball in that match. sammynb 3640
Seen him play 3 or 4 games for the Australian U23 team and at that level, considering he's 19 he looks an excellent player. Problem is he's an attacking midfielder and perfect for a 4-3-3 formation. So obviously he's of no use to Allardyce!
Barney 0
I saw him in a reserve game and a couple of friendlies and wasn't overly impressed, hopefully going on loan will give Sammy a decent idea of how good/shit he is.
