We are in it and yes Smith was shocking, but with the injuries we have and being away why not? We could be Everton or Blackburn, IE Not in the fucking draw!! Isegrim 9955
Canny result, poor performance. I'll take that. After looking at our form, their form, and other results yesterday I feared worse to come. Therefore I'm actually not too disappointed with the overall performance. It was not more than average but I didn't really expect more tbh. So it was at least a run out for the likes of Owen to get fitness (he wasn't that much involved, but at least when he had the ball he showed that a striker actually can have a clue what he should do next. So it's all about trying to keep him fit for once). The only really negative thing todays match proved for the umpteenth time is that a midfield pairing of the likes of Butt and Smith will get you nowhere. With decent wingers like N'Zogbia and Duff you could excuse them for not being creative, but the major problem is that we are giving far too many easy balls away from the centre of the park and therefore are unable to dominate the game. A decent central midfielder would make a hell of a difference to this team imho. And Garth Crooks looks like he is on Speed.

Judging by the perfromance, the state of the squad, the progress of Allardyces football philosophy and the likelihood of winning the trophy, then yes, I couldn't give a fuck about the cup this year. Only an idiot would blindly believe otherwise.

Yeah, that's exactly what I just said. In fact if you look deeper you can see I said we'd definitely win the cup this season too. We're not in Europe, we're pretty unlikely to go down, we're out the League Cup, so let's have an F.A. Cup run if we can. Textbook Vic btw

wykikitoon 21256
A team flying high in the Championship playing on confidence, playing a Premier League team very low on confidence and in a bit of a dip. They are at home in the cup, after watching several lower league clubs knocking out the 'Big Guns', conditions were awrful. I would say it was a good result? I know what you're saying but generally a draw away from home in the FA Cup isn't a bad result. Plus Stoke are doing well. We rode our luck though.
