Tribal 0
Was in the pub tonight and SSN was on the telly, and it had the 'Transfer Latest' section on and was showing clips of Emre. Unfortunetly I couldn't make out what was being said - anybody see it??
marci 0
Didn't saw the piece about him, but in todays L'Equipe the Monaco manager said he would like to get him, might have been that.

JawD 99
Monaco have confirmed their interest in Newcastle's Turkish ace Emre - whose agent continues to engineer a move. Galatasaray have also been linked to the Magpies' fans favourite who has two-and-a-half years left on his St James' Park contract. But Monaco coach Ricardo admitted the 27-year-old former Inter Milan star is on their list of targets for the January transfer window. "He is a midfielder who has technique and he is a target," he said. Monaco have pulled out of bidding for Juventus midfielder Tiago, who has been outspoken in his criticism of the Serie A club recently, which could open the route for his return to a top club in England. link

What at? Diving? Would be delighted if a playmaker type who actually made an impact on matches regularly was signed in his place.

Ketsbaia 0
He only ever looks decent when coming on with 20 minutes to go so he gets that extra time on the ball that he needs.

Kid Dynamite 7320
That will leave us with a central midfield of Faye, Butt, Geremi, Barton and Smith. It will be like watching 1970 Brazil!

He runs, it's just he has a lower maximum speed due to his little legs. In fact I'm pretty sure he has to run constantly just to keep up with play. Paul 0
Would be criminal for us to sell Emre and not sign a replacement. Love him or hate him, he's the only player in the centre of our midfield who can actually create something

Big TRon 0
Emre just isn't built for the EPL. For me, he has to be playing in the final third of the pitch, maybe in a Beardsley type role to see the best of him but he's never going to be any use to Sam. If we get decent money I'm not fussed to see him leave.
