bawan 0
David Beckham has begun training with Arsenal as he bids to win his 100th cap for England next month. Beckham, 32, asked Gunners manager Arsene Wenger for permission to train with the club so that he can keep fit during the American close season. The former Manchester United star hopes to impress new England coach Fabio Capello ahead of the friendly with Switzerland on 6 February. Beckham is currently playing Major League Soccer for LA Galaxy. The former Real Madrid midfielder will mainly train with Arsenal's reserves over the next month and will only join up with the first team occasionally when they are short of players. He is expected to return to LA Galaxy in mid-February in time for their pre-season friendlies ahead of the MLS season, which starts in late March. Guest alex
I'd probably give him his 100th cap, say thanks a lot and plan ahead for the next World Cup, which he'll be too old for.

Happy Face 29
I'd give him his 100th Cap vs Switzerland. (Fingers crossed. It will be my 1st match at the new Wembley) and tell him and ALL OTHER England Players: from now on, if you're not playing regulary for your club, or your not fit, you won't get called up. call ups only means you get into the squad, not necesarily starting/playing in the games. His English isn't THAT bad.

tinofbeans 91
fair play to beckham for actually getting off his arse and training, they might get his methods of crossing and pass it on to walcott or one of their other wingers.... then the rest of the league would be in trouble! the other thing about arsenals players is they are a hell of a lot fitter than most and this could be used by beckham to keep his career going for a short while longer.
