Has anyone at the club actually stated this? - Champions league participants? - A cup in the bag and top 6 finishes? - Premiership contenders? - Champions league contenders? Happy Face 29
I'd say none of the above. What are you defending Sam for then? Because he'll bring Intertoto cup glory. Nah, perhaps the top 6 one would be a realistic aim. That's all this season is about for Sam, lowering expectations.

Who would have thought at the start of season we would not hold much hope of getting anything out of Man City at HOME!?!!?

sammynb 3640
With Sam nothing but mid-table obscurity, with a lucky year ending up in a waffa cup spot. With the right manager .....

I don't think it's his goal, I just can't see how his type of football could get us much more.

RlCO 0
In 5 years, we will be under-achieving, booing the team, calling for the manager to be sacked, bleating on about biased press, and generally wasting our money on football. People don't like change.

It would be easier than constantly going over and over the facts with you stubborn bastids all the time. Truthfully I want to get off the manager merry-go-round but I'm afraid all I can see with the team at the moment, is the final months of Sir Bobby, Souness and Roeders reigns and I'm sick of ground hog day
