It turns out there was a power cut at the datacentre but frankly the service we've been getting lately has been fairly shite to say the least. When it works it works well, fast connections, no problems with quality etc but it now seems to be going downhill. So in a nutshell we may have to put up with some more crap for the next couple of weeks while a new server is sorted out, once thats been found then we'll need to move over which should hopefully be fairly seamless one night.
