The appeal produced 350 calls, but hey, I guess not having her on your telly is more important to some people.

Good of the kidnappers to let her have a mobile.

How the hell have 350 people got new information now after it being all over the news all year!

I dont think 350 will be new info from the initial incident. Assuming she is still alive, there is every chance she has been spotted in between times. The appeals are there to jog peoples memories of anything up to this point, not just the first thing.

and of course the detective agency don't have any finacial interest in investigating 350 new leads...................

What? Like they were going to lay them off if there were no calls? Stay off the little yellow pills man.

It's not that I support child abduction, it's just that I feel that the parents in this case have proven somewhat odious. They love the limelight. They're self-absorbed and self-aggrandising; not to forget that horrible website they set up, complete with blogs from the family. There's no dignity or anything to the way they've presented themselves, and it's all horribly excessive- and you have to question why. Essentially, it's their fault. Have they ever admitted such? Also bear in mind they set up donations via a website and have made over a million pounds thusfar. I would hope they return the money or put it to good use, ie. donations to missing children's charities, rather than funding their own personal round-the-world trips to investigate every lead personally.

For those supporting them, do you think they'd give an iota of their time or considerable money to you if your own child was abducted?

I had a chuckle at that mind.

I can't get my head round how anyone thinks they are doing what they do for the limelight or the travel opportunities, as opposed to just sitting at home and praying I suppose.

I would imagine they're not particularly bothered about how they come across really, be it undignified, odious or excessive. They're desperate to find their daughter. Yes, the coverage may be repetitive, but if you'd lost your child would you care? Fair point about the money they've raised though.

I wish people would stop ripping them for it being their fault. They know that, and will never forgive themselves for it, they don't need twats who have never met them putting the boot in every five minutes.

It's Christmas for fuck's sake, have some sympathy.

Well said.

I do know they have said the money will be put to good use as a charity for similar cases. Also they are hiring someone to chase these leads and not running around the world themselves
