Tribal 0
Great to see him back. Looked decent when he came on and offered more down the left in the final 20 minutes than Milner had for the first 70.
Jimbo 175
Agreed, lets hope it will allow Milner to play on the right for a fucking change.
MattM4 0
Looked decent when he came on Thought his look was hilarious Looked exactly like a guy who's been away and only training indoors for months.

Milner imo plays better on the left than the right, today he was shite but understandable due to the other ten players being fucking gash.

ewerk 31600
Gonna take him a while to get up to full fitness and sharpness but looked ok when he came on. Could do with a haircut though.

JawD 99
Thought he looked canny when he came on like. Certainly compared to the rest of them today,
LeazesMag 0
Duff was always a player signed for a good fee, at a good age with his best years ahead of him ie "planning" and all of that ....... Who said he was a "trophy signing", a ridiculous phrase at the best of times. Roeder didn't do so badly in the transfer market after all did he ? Barney 0
I was having a think about with Duff back, Milner being shifted over onto the right-wing, and I'm not so sure it will happen. Sam obviously prefers crosses swinging into the box, look at every set piece we had yesterday for example. The fact Duff was brought on to play left wing, however is promising. tinofbeans 91
if allowed time and injuries permitting he is the most naturally gifted of our wingers. i fully expect him to get crocked in the next couple of games, knowing our luck!

Tooj 17
He did look a lot sharper yesterday than he has at times, hopefully we can keep him fit as it will then at least give us another option in our very static and predictable attacking shape at the moment. Jusoda Kid 1
Makes no odds if he's fit or not because as Sam says Milner loves playing on the left so expect to see Duff in goal or right back

So in order to have 'his best years ahead of him' he has to play like he did before he went to the club we signed him off. Makes perfect sense. Tooj 17
Most at the time though iirc did actually say, the money was needed elsewhere but when a player of Duff's quality became available for that price we were right to take that chance.
