David Bowie and Bing Crosby - Little drummer boy ;)

Quality craic behind this on Radcliffe and Maconie t'other night. Apparently Bing didnt have a clue who David Bowie was and (if you watch the video) doesn't even look at him once throughout. Bowie barely recalls making the video at all and said he was so smacked off his tits at the time that he didn't know who David Bowie was either. ;)

 

A good shout from the show for best xmas song for me was The Waitresses - Christmas Wrapping.

Religious choon-wise, I love hearing a decent choir have a go at "O Holy Night".

 

As for Christmas pop, it may have become fashionable to sneer at it (though now that Sima's in on the trend, I'm sure it'll swiftly become unfashionable again), but I'll hear nowt against "Fairytale Of New York".

 

Special mention for Tony Ferrino's "Bigamy At Christmas", naturally.
