This place had to move on at some point, get out of the stranglehold he had on it, imo its now a better place. What happens if a "blocked" person writes a post in the middle of a thread do you not see that? Is that a repeat of the question asked earlier, if so sorry I react too easily, I've often responded without thinking. If you block a person you have to make a conscious effort to read their writings and as such you forgo any right to indignant reply. you basically get a message reminding you, that you've blocked that user and gives you an option to un-block the user or read this specific post.
