RlCO 0
How times they are a changing. A sleepy student and not one mention of coffee, red-bull or pro-plus. And I thought from all the meeja recently that fruit and veg were expensive now? Surely out of the price range of students anyway. I remember I went through a lean phase of banana sandwiches instead of KFC for lunch, but I was that lazy most bananas I ever bought went off before I could be arsed to eat them. Guest alex
That smmothy company whose name escapes me do a Vit C one with acerola cherries that's about 800% your RDA. Ideal in the winter time for wardy off the 'flu and colds. If you actually eat fruit instead of drinking smoothies / juice etc. you get the fibre from it too though as it gets broken down when it's puree'd. It's also better for your teeth as the sugars stay locked in the cells if you eat the fruit whole. Can't whack fruit and veg really. Innocent? Yes m' Lord. Guest alex
They are dead expensive like, although I normally only get them in a Boots 2.99 meal deal. I think the proper price is about £1.89 or something for a little bottle. They are nice though. Didn't know you read those sorts of magazines btw. I just occasionally notice the prices go up and down in the super market (from £1.99 to up to £4.50 for one of their standard cartoon things), gotta have something to do whilst waiting for the latest edition of Shite! to come out after all. luckyluke 2
Whacking up your vitamin C intake doesn't do much to prevent getting colds but it's good for getting rid of them IIRC.
