bawan 0
Good result tbh but like Jimbo said its disappointing that it took all that criticism to bring a performance like that. Edited December 5, 2007 by bawan
acrossthepond 901
This is what I expect day in day out from us. We have the squad to do this. There's no reason why we should be going down 3-0 at home to Liverpool when we can perform like that. That said, I thought Butt was shocking today and that if we'd put away our chances there was nothing stopping us from winning this game outright. Adebayor had a great goal but also a fair amount of cheating.
Tom 14021
Decent game. Poor Mistake from the Zog for their goal, but none the less a classy finish from Adabayor. We could of had a few lucky ones tbh
Jusoda Kid 1
Really happy with that performance, more of the same please. However imo we've found two things out for definite tonight, Smith is best up front and Zoggy isn't a left back, plaese take note Sam. MOM = Smith for me

Jimbo 175
Tonight was excellent, especially the second half, but lets see how we are motivated against the likes of Birmingham and Fulham before we all start sucking eachothers dicks.
NJS 4447
Trying to be an optimist I hope Sam realises thats its "blood and guts" displays like this that will win the fans over and might make him realise why there was such a bad reaction to the 3 shit away performances + Liverpool. Hopefully those will now be seen as the low point. We still need to create more chances and play more football of course.

jaythesouthernmag 0
Hats off to the lads, great battling performance and not many teams will out possesion the Arse this season. Smith looked good up top and won most things pity Oba couldnt make the most of his chances. Butt did well as did Taylor, would like to see Zog on LW and Milner on RW. Still not convinced on either Geremi and Barton. The next few games will tell more of a tale than this one, also be interested if Owen walks streight back into the team when fit, I think he will. RlCO 0
Classic music in the closing credits: Theres too many men Too many people Making too many problems And not much love to go round Cant you see This is a land of confusion. This is the world we live in And these are the hands were given Use them and lets start trying To make it a place worth living in. Ooh superman where are you now When everythings gone wrong somehow The men of steel, the men of power Are losing control by the hour.

Ketsbaia 0
More of the same please. I was proud of the team and the fans tonight. I'd keep the same team for Brum. I'm far too pissed to be dealing with anyone of the arses who are going to bemoan the fact that we played well but only in a crisis. Yes, you may have a point but we delivered what everyone wanted tonight and more than what most people expected - a solid performance and a point

RlCO 0
Pisses me off how Taylor is always the hero when he returns from a layoff, yet after a few games he turns into a primadonna arse giving away stuff left right and centre (well, he nearly gave a dangerous free kick away in the last 5 today too)

Professional. Even if he got red carded it would have been worth it to get our season back on track.
