luckyluke 2
Steady on. First album was very good like. Gone progressively downhill imo. They aren't shit though. I am deadly serious. Although they have been rather poor of late. The last ten years in fact. But I stand by my statement, they're virtually the only band that will be talked of 20 years from now from this period in the way we talk about the Smiths, Roses etc IMO. In fact the only other band that springs to mind is Radiohead.

I've often wished Liam would do the same. Thinking about it though, perhaps not. The amount of cunts walking around pretending to be him in the early-mid 90's though There was a Mackem at my university who went as far as to pretend he was actually from Hulme half the time and spoke with a Manc accent. What a fucking tit.

What a fucking tit. There's book written by Oasis' former bodyguard ("What's the Story?"), it's quite good - the author is surprisingly eloquent for an ex para. Anyway, his description of Liam is of a petulant, volatile and quite dangerous individual. Would probably be in prison were it not for the band IMO. Faith No More started off more than 20 years ago. Fwiw I prefer the Pixies and FNM to Nirvana. It was more about their being influential / talked about. Not really into the Foo Fighters. The B-sides and album tracks were better than the stuff the rest were releasing at the time. But since then the drop-off in quality has been massive. Their other albums range from rubbish to average. In fact their third best album is the B-sides collection. It's probably no coincidence that the quality dropped at the same time the mega-bucks came rolling in. tinofbeans 91
Oasis are not good at all. Their first album however, was very good. new order /JD were certainly better and have done more for music by a mile.
