It was blatantly obvious that he's lost the respect of quite a few of the players and it was only going to get worse but for FS to say what he said and sack him when he did was stupidity. The team was considered an absolute disgrace for finishing fifth, with the only argument being whether disaproval should be shown by booing the lap of honour or leaving before the end i was one of the few on this board that backed robson when shepherd was making a fool of himself with the bambi comments. we'd finished 5th, which was disappointing compared with previous seasons but it was still a relative success. you just have to look where we are now to see that. imagine being so pissed off that we booed the lap of honour because we just missed out on the 4th champions league spot. we'll do well to finish in the top half this year...
