Because personally I think it's a staggeringly good album as indeed is Desire (1976). Between 1976 and 1997 he made a lot of utter drivell, but far from being overrated it was universally panned. His last 2 albums have redeemed him completely though. In the 14 years between 62 and 76 I'd say he released at least 11 masterpieces. No-one else will ever touch him.
