Guest Tuco Ramirez
Canny! Can you get the league online like? Aye results normally go on the same neet. www.powerleague.co.uk You need to reg like but it takes 30 seconds.
Barney 0
4-1 win last night I played right wing, set-up or opener after half-time, then won the free kick for the 4th-getting a wobbly ankle in the process. I backed into a centre back and a keeper on the free kick and neither of them put up any resistance, so they were both half way into the net when the ball was smashed goalwards. Talk of a walkover next week, so nice to finish the season on a high.

Andrew 4748
easiest game of 5 a side ive ever played tonight 29-0, ive honestly never encountered a team so awful in my life no pace, no strength, no ability on the ball they had one lad who actually couldnt kick the ball and their keeper needed to goes to collect anything, even passes back to him hed miss them first time and then scramble over to get it second time more than once they'd kick off from the centre to no one for one of our team to run on to it and just pop it past their keeper, it was mental
Kid Dynamite 7025
First game of the season today, won 4-1. We are a new club so we have had to start in the 4th division but if the team we played are anything to go by we should walk the league. Their left back was about 49! To rub salt in the wounds I came out of nets last couple of minutes to swap with the lad who was scoring all our goals and got 2 myself. One of the kids playing for the opposition had some sort of medical tube going up his nose and had some sort of limp. They were the 5-a-side equivalent to the Raggy Dolls. Kid Dynamite 7025
On a side note. We had a female referee last week, early 20s, and she was easily the best ref I've had in the last 2 years. Seemed to understand that football is a contact sport, unlike some of the twats who blow up as soon as you go shoulder to shoulder with someone

sweetleftpeg 0
SLP can talk. He's a dead ringer for Sad Sack. In a spooky turn of events, we played early on last night and won 23-0. The only crippling disabilities the oposition had this time was that they were posh rgger boys who've come to football late. I got so bored I alternated between doing shuttle runs in the box and sitting down against the post. I was knackered.
manc-mag 1
Anyone play individual sets (of first to five) and then keep re-setting? Keeps it competitive, especially when you've got a load of shit playing.

And it's not revolving teams either, it's just two teams. The scores get re-set when one team gets to 5 goals and you start again. It keeps it competitive because 5 goals is always in nearish reach as a target even if you're the weaker team. You can still tell whos won overall by the end of the match. It sounds shit (I realise) and I hated it the first time I played in that system but it's spot on now I reckon. I can't be doing with double figure winning margins. How anyone can enjoy 'banging' another goal in at 35-0 in a 5-a-side game is beyond me.

Besty 4
We just split the teams fairly when we're just playing against eachother. Much better when it's a close game.
Kid Dynamite 7025
Won our 2nd game of the season 5-1. Scored a hatrick, including one off my arse charging down the keeper Got the mother of all blisters on my big toe now. Could do with some mouldys for the rock hard pitches! Barney 0
last game of the season tomorrow. We're currently 4th place in the table, level on points with 3rd, but we're 2 goals worse off on GD. They play the league leaders, and we play a midtable team. 3rd place play the league winners in the match before us on the same pitch, so we'll know what result we need going into our game.
