Do they ban laptops/DVD players in hospitals? I think they relaxed the rules on mobiles recently?

You'd be amazed what can be done/smuggled in/used/kept a secret if you have the right nurse looking after you :crylaughin:

Jonny mate, unfortunatley I lost me mum a couple of years back and its tough, very tough but it does get easier.

Its worse when, like you and I know its going to happen, its a waiting game.

Youll have good times and bad. Dont bottle it up mate, have a chat with us on here, with your family and even if you think you need it (I did) speak to a counseller. Your grandad wont be far away pal, hell be watching over you ;)

Thanks to everyone. ;)

It was the best thing in the end, we all knew it, as for one who'd led such an active life, it was doing him no favours not being able to move around anymore, as he was always wanting to be out somewhere doing something.

At least he's no longer in pain. :icon_lol:

My heart goes out to you Jonny. When you love someone so much and they're taken away from you, it's the worst ordeal any of us have to face. Just cherish the happy times you had together, I believe he's in a better place, and even though it's no consolation at all, I'm sure he's very proud of you, and will be proud of you throughout your life.
